a game for car enthusiasts
by D.H. Goodall and Rashaad Ahmad
The object of this game is to hone your skills as an auto spotter by finding, or “spotting”, other players’ cars or trucks. This friendly competition is also an opportunity to get to know other auto enthusiasts in the Ithaca area.
Each player starts with 20 points that he/she can lose if his/her vehicle is “spotted” by another player. When a spotting occurs, the spotting player gains 2 points and the spotted player loses 2 points. In order to prove that you’ve spotted someone, you need to send the game judge a SQUARE-SHAPED photo (1:1) of the spotted players’ vehicle. These captured photos will be displayed on this website. You can find some tips on how to take great SQUARE-SHAPED photos here. This game is optimal with 10 to 20 players.
