The Online Learning Initiative is a collaboration between departments, business teams, and service units in the ILR School at Cornell University. Conceived and guided by Joe Grasso, Associate Dean for Finance, Administration, and Corporate Relations, the project seeks to provide strategic direction and services for online education at the School. Housed in Technology Services and overseen by Laura Robinson, Director of Infrastructure Operations, the project is well-positioned to leverage key resources and expertise throughout the ILR School and Cornell.

The Cornell-ILR Experienced Managers Program (CEMP) is a 12-month blended program for mid-career professionals in India. Developed through a partnership between the ILR School at Cornell University and Pearson, the UK-based multinational, CEMP is a management program for the working professional with a focus on human capital.
The Cornell Online Learning Community held its kick-off event on March 3, 2015, in Ithaca, NY. With 125 attendees from 13 Cornell University colleges, schools, and units, the event became the largest gathering of staff and faculty for online education at Cornell.
This past 2013 fall semester, that is from October 14 to December 30, I attended a free online marketing course taught by faculty at The Wharton School. The course was one of four MOOCs (massive open online courses) by Wharton offered on the Coursera platform for the semester.
