The Office of Graduate Programs at Cornell University’s ILR School recently returned from a trip to the ESCP Europe campus in Paris, France, where we met with our ESCP counterparts to discuss the joint-degree program offered by both schools. The Master of Industrial and Labor Relations/Master in Management (MILR/MiM) is a rigorous three-year program that not only affords candidates the opportunity to attend the prestigious ILR School at Cornell but also gives them international business exposure at the world’s first business school–ESCP.
The ESCP campus in Paris is beautiful, and it was busy when we arrived. We just happened to be visiting during the school’s interview portion of applications. For MILR students, a representative from ESCP usually travels to Cornell’s campus in Ithaca, NY, for the interview. Pretty convenient.
While at ESCP’s campus, I also had the privilege to interview a few ESCP students on camera–two MILR alumni and a student who is very much looking forward to attending the ILR School this upcoming fall semester of 2012. They were all very excited about the joint-degree degree program and about its value in their future careers. We hope to get the video interviews up on the MILR YouTube playlist soon.
All in all, why wouldn’t someone consider the MILR/MiM program? A chance for a great education at both the ILR School, one of the best graduate schools in human resources and labor relations, and ESCP Europe, one of the top schools for a Master in Management.
