The Cornell Online Learning Community held its kick-off event on March 3, 2015, in Ithaca, NY. With 125 attendees from 13 Cornell University colleges, schools, and units, the event became the largest gathering of staff and faculty for online education at Cornell.
The Cornell Online Learning Community (COLC) was founded by D.H. Goodall (ILR School), Barbara Friedman (CIT Academic Technologies), Diane Marie Sempler (CIT Academic Technologies), and Nancy C. Weislogel (School of Hotel Administration).

The community is continuing the conversation on the enterprise social network Yammer. There are currently 127 members within the discussion group and several theme leaders.
Update (1/10/2016): The Yammer group now has 237 members from across the Cornell campus.
